Company research · RBI source
Check the company
behind the loan.
Search 6,703 entries in RBI’s cancelled NBFC and ARC registration snapshot. Match the legal name, open the source and check for later changes.
A listed company is not necessarily a consumer lender or a loan app. This record does not prove a company’s status today, approve its products or confirm a partnership with us. Check RBI’s latest records and the lender’s own disclosures before acting.
The cancelled-CoR workbook combines NBFCs and ARCs. A cancellation can follow surrender, merger or another regulatory action; this list alone does not establish misconduct.
Try the legal name on the agreement.
The app’s brand may differ from the company name. Try a shorter spelling and remove the regional-office filter. A missing result is not proof that a company is unregistered: this is a dated, limited snapshot.
What this directory can tell you
It reproduces selected factual fields from RBI’s original spreadsheets: legal name, regional office, category and regulatory layer where supplied. The regional office is RBI’s supervision office, not proof that a loan is available in your city.
The registered workbook also contains asset reconstruction companies. Those ARC rows are excluded from the NBFC search. Both original workbooks are available through the latest-lists link above. Source row numbers let you trace an entry back to the worksheet.
What needs a separate check
Registration is not a product recommendation. An account aggregator, a corporate investment company and a consumer lender can have very different functions. Do not infer an app, product, interest rate or eligibility from a name in this list.
Detailed guides are written separately when original lender sources support useful analysis. Registry records are factual lookup pages, not completed lender reviews.
